The team behind the Tour des Canadiens and Tour des Canadiens 2 mixed-use residential projects, located adjacent to the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens NHL team, has announced a third phase to the residential project.
Cadillac Fairview, Canderel and the Club de hockey Canadien announced the new high-rise tower called TDC3 will be completed in 2021, featuring condominium units and amenities that give it a distinct identity from the other phases of the project.
Common areas and accessible services include a state-of-the-art fitness room, a modern games room, adaptable private party rooms and a sky lounge located on the tower’s highest level, the 55th floor. In addition, “The Club” at TDC3 will offer residents a Mediterranean-inspired indoor pool and outdoor terrace, with views overlooking the new two-acre city park proposed for the Quad Windsor neighbourhood. It will also offer a storage area allowing deliveries to be received without constraints for online purchases and grocery deliveries, which is rare in Montreal condominiums.
TDC3 will be designed to feel like a boutique hotel by accents including a two-storey lobby, spiral staircase, marble counter and fireplace. Residents will have access to a ground level café facing the outdoor Pocket Park and common spaces designed by Montreal-based CAMDI, including an urban Wi-Fi lounge for work or relaxation.
The tower, designed by Page + Steele/IBI Group Architects, jointly with Béïque Legault Thuot Architectes (BLTA), will feature 567 new units in various configurations, ranging from one bedroom to three bedroom and penthouse units, all of which feature open living areas and views of the city. TDC3 will also include 12 townhouses located on the south side of the tower. A new pedestrian bridge will provide a crossing above Saint-Antoine Street from a podium overlooking the entire district, connecting the condo tower to Tour Deloitte, Windsor Station, the Bell Centre and Montreal’s underground network.
Just like the residents of Tour des Canadiens and Tour des Canadiens 2, residents of TDC3 will enjoy the close association between the residential project and the Montreal Canadiens hockey team, including exclusive benefits and access to the team and the Bell Centre, according to the developers.
