A Montreal office tower has achieved a rare perfect score through the digital certification program, WiredScore. The Class AAA, million-square-foot complex at 1250 boulevard René-Lévesque joins a select group with just 20 other buildings worldwide, and is the first Canadian building to attain all 100 of the available points awarded for connectivity, infrastructure, readiness and innovation.
BentallGreenOak and Sun Life Assurance of Canada are joint owners of the property, which also carries BOMA BEST Platinum, LEED Gold and Fitwell designations.
“In a world in which virtually every aspect of our working lives consumes or transmits data, it is important that BentallGreenOak-managed office properties demonstrate exceptional performance in connectivity and digital capability for our tenants,” observes Yves-André Godon, BentallGreenOak’s managing director for Quebec and Ottawa.
“First-class digital connectivity is no longer a nice-to-have; it is fundamental,” concurs Mike St. Cyr, head of Canadian markets for WiredScore Canada. “We are excited to see what 1250, boulevard René-Lévesque will deliver for the community which interacts with it each and every day.”
