Strategic Group has acquired a 27.9-acre retail-focused property on Vancouver Island, 50 kilometres north of Victoria, British Columbia.

The Duncan area purchase includes Duncan Centre, Duncan Plaza, Duncan Village and Duncan Mall, all which total more than 361,809 square feet of retail space with possible expansion of another 4,400 square feet.

In regards to leasing activities, Strategic Group has listed the properties with Colliers International, which include more than 40 stores and services such as, Staples, Winners, Petsmart, London Drugs and Real Canadian Superstore.

Duncan is home to about 5,000 residents and also serves 80,000 people who live in the larger Cowichan Valley.

A third party property manager will lead the day-to-day operations of Duncan Centre.
