Broccolini held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on Victoria sur le Parc, set to be Montreal’s tallest residential tower.
According to the developer’s press release the 58-storey tower will house ten floors of office space, including a commercial ground floor, and will rise up in Montreal’s Quartier International.
“The speed at which the available units sold shows once again just how much buyers trust Broccolini’s expertise,” said the chief operating officer, Anthony Broccolini in the press release. In fact, more than 300 residential units, representing 75 per cent of the available units, have been sold since the launch of sales last October.”
Designed by IBI and Béïque Legault Thuot, the project will be bordered by a park, the design of which has been entrusted to landscape architect Claude Cormier.
This new park will link the future building to the new National Bank headquarters, located at 800 Saint-Jacques Street for which Broccolini is the general contractor, along with the 628 Saint-Jacques together represent a total investment of nearly 1.3 billion dollars in the neighbourhood.
“This enthusiasm gives us the opportunity to put the finishing touches on the redevelopment of this city block,” added Roger Plamondon, President of Real Estate Development and Acquisitions.
Work is expected to be complete in 2023.
