Cadillac Fairview’s GREEN AT WORK™ National Sustainability Program recently won the Green Award of the Year at the 14th Annual Real Estate Excellence (REX) Awards.

The Green Award of the Year recognizes excellence, innovation and achievement in the area of sustainable real estate projects or practices, initiatives, processes and/or community contributions.

GREEN AT WORK™ is Cadillac Fairview’s sustainability operational platform, which focuses on energy, waste management and the environmental protection of land, air and water.

Halsall Associates and Loop Initiatives recently helped complete a revamp to simplify program requirements, set ambitious targets, introduce property-level green teams, and design engagement and training tools for use at each property.

The REX Awards is a recognition program that celebrates the achievements of the office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate industry in the Greater Toronto Area.
