J.A.R & Sons Enterprises, an affiliate of Remai Group, has purchased the Calgary Airport Marriot portfolio from Mitchell Group Alberta.

Located about eight kilometres from Calgary International Airport—the third busiest airport in Canada—the 171-room Courtyard and 157-room Residence Inn by Marriot offer easy access to downtown Calgary, TELUS Spark and CrossIron Mills.

Both structures share 265,200 square feet of space and include numerous amenities, public spaces, as well as an expansive parking lot.

Colliers International Hotels facilitated the deal. The brokerage service company says the portfolio received significant interest from traditional Canadian capital sources, including U.S. and international hotel investors “seeking exposure to one of North America’s fastest growing markets.”
