Werner Dietl will succeed Mark Renzoni, as president and CEO of CBRE Canada effective Jan. 1, 2019. Renzoni, will step down at the end of the year after 30 years with the commercial real estate company.

It’s the right time to empower the next generation of leaders and CBRE Canada is well positioned for continued growth and innovation under Werner’s strong leadership.”

Dietl has been with the company since 1995 and started off as an industrial broker. Werner currently leads CBRE’s Greater Toronto Area platform, the company’s largest brokerage business in Canada.

“I am both excited and humbled by the opportunity to lead CBRE’s Canadian operation,” Dietl said. “Our continued growth is a testament to Mark’s vision and leadership. I am honoured to take the reins from him and continue leveraging the strength of our people and national platform.

Renzoni will remain director of CBRE Canada through 2019.
