Beside its recent sale of the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Downtown to a partnership between KingSett Capital and InnVest Real Estate Investment Trust, Colliers International Hotels sold two other Ontario-based hotels this past August.
The 395-room, CAA/AAA Four Diamond award-winning Westin Prince Toronto, was sold on behalf of a private investor group to an established company from China. This urban resort hotel is the largest single hotel acquisition by a cross-border group in Canada over the past ten years.
Located south of Highway 401 and west of the Don Valley Parkway, the amenity-rich hotel sits on 15 acres and includes 30,000 square feet of meeting space, four food and beverage outlets, a business centre, outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, fitness centre and 625-space three-level parking structure.
The other sale regards the 118-room Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake. Steps away from the Outlet Collection Niagara mall and the QEW, the hotel is known for its spacious guest rooms averaging 370 square feet, as well as various facilities.
