Toronto-based Conkrite Capital has named Blair Thompson the new vice-president of physical asset management.
Conkrite Capital helps facilities achieve greater efficiency in their core business by providing essential services, such as building operations, cleaning and custodial, renovations and ground and turf.
Thompson will be responsible for developing the company’s growing portfolio of regional and national accounts. For the past 20 years, he has worked in condominium, asset and construction management, and has had direct involvement in senior and family housing development, along with zoning and site acquisition. He will assume responsibilities effective immediately to replace a retiring colleague.
“I feel privilege to step up to this role,” said Thompson. “After so many years in the industry I have not seen a clearer vision of the future. I will work with management to develop strategies that will keep Conkrite’s growth pattern steady and profitable in order to grow the mission of creating a real legacy of living well.”
