Devron Developments recently held a private event to introduce residents of Thornhill, Ont. to the Vanguard, the company’s newest condo project. At the event, guests were able to see inside the sales centre and preview a model suite designed by interior design firm II BY IV DESIGN.

The 25-storey development is to be located at Yonge St. and Grandview Ave. One to four bedroom suites will range from 522 to 3,920 square feet with prices starting in the high $200,000s. Devron hopes that targeting LEED Gold Certification will keep maintenance fees low.

Guests were also given a preview of the amenities the development plans to offer through a series of interactive lifestyle stations. Attendees were served custom hors d’oeuvres inspired by the various cultures of the neighbourhood. An organic pick-your-own-salad station was designed to feel like a preview of the proposed 7,000 square foot rooftop terrace, which will feature access to community gardens and views of the development’s half-acre public park.

The sales centre is equipped with four Tesla Destination chargers. Once the project is complete, the Vanguard will have Tesla Destination chargers installed on the ground floor for residents, making Devron the first developer in the GTA to offer this feature. It will also be able to accommodate other electric vehicles with six additional EV chargers.
