Drechsel Business Interiors, a Toronto-based workplace furnishings dealer, has announced that Tova Drechsel has been named company president, effective immediately. Tova Drechsel succeeds company founder Fred Drechsel, who has stepped down from his role.
Drechsel Business Interiors represents internationally-recognized furniture design and manufacturing company Knoll, along with more than 100 other vendors.
“The Drechsel team is excited by the opportunities that lie ahead for the company to grow our business in this dynamic market, offering the right products, and the expertise required,” said Ms. Drechsel, in a press release. “We thank Fred, as a co-founder of the company, for his leadership since 1991. I look forward to working with the architecture and design community, our team here at Drechsel and our partners at Knoll, to create inspiring, productive work spaces for our customers.”

Drechsel also announced it has appointed Christopher W. White as its new vice president, operations. In this role, White will lead the company’s project management, warehousing and installation operations.
