Construction is now complete on the new Forest Group office building, located at 240 Chrislea Road in Vaughan, Ontario. Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, provided architecture, interior design, and civil engineering services for the project.
The new three-storey, 2,165 square metre headquarters was built adjacent to the company’s existing one.
Features of the building include:
- A modern glass exterior with a black-on-black colour palette designed to contrast with the existing brick office building.
- Black-tinted, bird-friendly glazing and spandrel panel curtain walls.
- A glossy black-painted precast panel, as well as black and red aluminum composite metal panels in the exterior design.
“We strived to create an efficient building footprint while still ensuring the utmost in utility and functionality of the space,” said Frank Di Roma, principal of Ware Malcomb’s Toronto office in the firm’s press release.
“Our team worked closely with Forest Group to design a new building that would not only meet their needs but also maximize the current and future value of their real estate investment.”
Forest Group also served as the general contractor for the project.
