ISSA Canada, a merger between the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association and the ISSA, has created a Canadian division of the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International, called ARCSI Canada.
The aim is to increase Canadian membership within the residential sector. The ARCSI officially joined with ISSA, the worldwide cleaning association, in spring.
“We are excited to now be able to work with the Canadian residential cleaning community,” said ARCSI Executive Director Ernie Hartong. “It will not only provide our existing members with more resources, but this new membership can bring together the entire Canadian residential community. With their input, we can plan and development programming specific to their needs.”
ISSA Canada says residential cleaning company members are professional, trusted and experienced and “bring a lot to the table” regarding how the cleaning industry is represented.
ARCSI was first created in 2003 as the Association of Residential Cleaning Professionals. Over the next several years, interest in being part of the association grew among residential cleaning companies.
ISSA Canada says having homes professionally cleaned has gone from being a luxury to being a necessity in today’s world and residential members are qualified to meet that need and exceed consumers’ expectations.
