Kevin Green, president of Greenwin Inc., was recently feted at the Jewish National Fund’s 2015 Negev dinner in Toronto to honour his exemplary leadership in the Jewish community. Proceeds from the dinner will support a range of social and athletic programs and facilities in Israel.

“With your support, more children will be able to play, have fun and just be children,” Green told the 1,600 attendees, who paid tribute to him and co-honouree, Joseph Frieberg, while also contributing to the Jewish National Fund (JNF).

This year, funds raised at the dinner are targeted to the Samson Israel Tennis Center in Beer Sheva and development of the Israel Tennis Center in Sderot. Both facilities aim to promote peaceful coexistence of Jewish and Arab populations, Ethiopian integration and support for the physically and developmentally disabled and youth at risk.

“We are delighted to honour Joseph Frieberg and Kevin Green, and we are very proud to support the Israel Tennis Centers, a cause which is dear to both of them,” said Faye Minuk, president of JNF Toronto.
