The final white exterior panel of the old Sears building at Vancouver’s Pacific Centre shopping mall has been removed to make way for Nordstrom.
Cadillac Fairview Corp. Ltd. is undertaking a major redevelopment of the building, located at 725 Granville St., to accommodate the upscale fashion retailer’s Canadian flagship store, along with 10 to 15 new retailers and four levels of triple-A office space.
New retail stores on the lower level are expected to open in late 2014. The office space is expected to open in early 2015, with Nordstrom opening later that year.
Pre-leasing for the office and retail space is currently underway.
