Latinx real estate professionals can discuss career perspectives at an inaugural half-day forum sponsored by NAREIM, the U.S. National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers. The event, set for next May in New York City, follows the model of NAREIM’s roundtable for black real estate professionals.
A six-member advisory board from NAREIM member companies is providing input on the proceedings, which will include a professional development workshop and networking opportunities. Jason Hernandez, head of real estate debt in the Americas for one of the world’s largest investment managers, Nuveen Real Estate, has been confirmed as the keynote speaker.
“NAREIM will provide backstory on how this event came to be, what attendees can expect throughout the day and how to get involved in future Latinx programming,” the organizers promise.
Registration is complimentary, but organizers are capping attendance at 65 and no more than two professionals per NAREIM member company. Some registrations may also be open to non-members.
