Michelle Brown has been promoted to the helm of BGO Properties, tasked with overseeing Canadian third-party real estate management. She’ll rely on more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate as she provides strategic direction for a portfolio of more than 450 properties and a suite of property management, leasing and construction services.
“Michelle’s promotion to the head of BGO Properties is a testament to her exceptional track-record, her collaborative approach, and the leadership capabilities that she has cultivated over her 24-year career with BGO,” says Christina Iacoucci, managing partner and BGO’s head in Canada.
“It is a tremendous privilege to lead a team of over 1,000 professionals from coast to coast and across the office, industrial, retail and residential portfolios we manage, who bring innovation, sustainability and a service mindset to work every day,” Brown observes. “I look forward to reinforcing the inclusive culture we have developed at BGO Properties, and to create the right conditions for the next generation of leaders to build long-term, successful careers with us.”
Brown is global lead for BGO women’s network and a member of its equity, diversity and inclusivity executive council. She is also a peer leader in the broader industry and serves as co-chair of Partners in Project Green, a coalition of business and community leaders championing environmental action and economic prosperity across the Greater Toronto Area.
