Surrey’s new city hall building is set to open on Feb. 17, 2014. The 180,000-square foot facility will be a landmark in the city’s core.

The building, along with the City Hall Plaza, will be connected to Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus and the recently completed City Centre Library.

The city hall is designed and built to LEED Gold standard. The new facility will also serve as a community hub and gathering place for local celebrations.

Surrey’s former city hall, a 21,000-square foot building, is still listed for lease by Colliers International.
