Office furniture manufacturer The Global Group (Global) has appointed a new President and CEO to its team. Effective Feb. 10, Joel Feldberg, Global’s former Chief Operating Officer, assumed the role from Saul Feldberg who retains his position as Chairman with the company.

Joel has worked with Global in various capacities since 2002 and was recently tasked with reinventing the company’s healthcare product line.

“As Global’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Joel has led with intensity and a deep commitment to our employees, customers, and the industry,” says Saul Feldberg, Global’s founder and former CEO. “I see a seamless transition infused with a renewed and passionate vision that will build on our strengths and create growth.”

Joel’s background includes a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University and a career in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions at Toronto law firm Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt. He is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations.
