Mohawk Medical Properties REIT, a private real estate investment trust, has announced its acquisition of a full-service medical office building in Oshawa, Ont.

The medical centre is fully occupied by entirely medical tenants. The building hosts the North Oshawa Medical Clinic as well as a pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray, physiotherapy and specialists.

The property is located on Ritson Road North, which functions as a north-south link between downtown Ottawa and Highway 401.

Mohawk is bringing aboard its own property management company, Mohawk Medical Management Corp., to provide specialized professional medical office building management services to both tenants and patients.
