Marnie Williams has been promoted to director of project services (Alberta) at RAM. She formerly held the role of senior manager, quality & inspections in B.C.
“We are extremely proud to announce this promotion which has come about from recognition of Marnie’s work and dedication, and we are grateful to have her join the executive team as we continue to grow RAM across Canada,” said Joe DiPlacito, president of RAM.
Williams is a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) from the American Society for Quality and has extensive construction experience specifically relating to Quality Management.
She exemplifies leadership through coaching and effective communication with personnel in relation to company policies, procedures, and best practices. Marnie partners with executives to enhance operational excellence. She also networks and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure innovation, productivity, and performance. Marnie is passionate about operational excellence with a strong focus on innovation, productivity, and performance. Marnie is a member of the American Society for Quality and the Construction Quality Executives Council.
Her focus at work for the upcoming year is to support RAM’s growth in Alberta.
“In this new role at RAM, I’m responsible for the strategic leadership, business development and operations for project services in Alberta. Although my role is specific to project services, I will be supporting RAM’s growth into the Prairies. The initial challenge with my new role will be building RAM’s brand in a new province, so I’m excited to be attending industry events in Alberta and giving back to the communities through philanthropic efforts.,” she said.
As a quality management professional with more than 15 years of experience, her career advice is to “embrace situations when you feel vulnerable or uncomfortable, your next opportunity for growth is about to begin if you do.”
