Ryder Canada, a commercial fleet management, dedicated transportation and supply chain solutions company, has opened a 17,500-square-foot service facility in Paradise, Newfoundland.
Ryder has served the local market for 20 years. The opening of the new facility near the 1 and 2 TransCanada Highways is responding to a growing list full service lease, rental and on-demand maintenance customers.
“Ryder continues to see growth and expansion in Newfoundland as businesses look to outsource fleet management and maintenance,” said Jerry Brown, vice-president and general manager of fleet management solution at Ryder. “As the Newfoundland market grows, we’ll grow with it.”
Ample parking spaces, 11 commercial service bays, one wash bay, two 65-foot trailer bays and an array of amenities including a driver lounge and customer reception area are only a few features. There is also a full service rental counter for the temporary use of heavy duty vehicles.
An in-floor heating system was also installed for energy efficiency and employee comfort.
