Peppa Leskovic, a commercial property administrator with Mitchell Developments, is the 2024 recipient of BOMI Education Canada’s Vyetta Sunderland scholarship. The annual bursary supports a commercial real estate careerist who is pursuing a Real Property Administrator (RPA) or Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designation.
Leskovic entered the commercial real estate workforce as a property administrator in 2017 and took up her current position with Regina-based Mitchell Developments in 2022. Industry sponsors attested to her strong negotiation skills, business administration prowess and ability to foster collaboration in recommending her for the scholarship.
“Peppa loves this industry, and this is just the opportunity she needs to accomplish greater things in commercial property management,” says Kim Saunders, property manager with East Port Properties, BOMA Fellow and chair of BOMI Education Canada. “She’s already planning on how she can fast-track her learning.”
“The ability to take my knowledge to the next level is very important to me, as I am committed to giving back to the industry and furthering its cause throughout the coming years,” Leskovic concurs.
The scholarship is named in honour of a longtime BOMI board member and professional development champion, widely respected for her 40 years of real estate industry experience. It was conferred at BOMEX 2024, the annual conference of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Canada.
