Luis Almeida, an executive vice president with JLL, has stepped into the presidency of the SIOR, (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) central Canada chapter. Kathy Kolodziej, a JLL senior vice president, joins him in the SIOR leadership as the organization’s newly named vice president.
Almeida, who recently made the move to JLL from Lee & Associates, has consistently been ranked as one of Toronto’s top-producing brokers over the course of more than a decade since launching his career. He attained the SIOR designation in 2018 and will apply his strengths in strategic insights and market analysis in his leadership role.
Kolodziej currently manages tenant representation and agency leasing for JLL’s industrial team. Previously, she served as lead of transaction advisory services for Canada Post, overseeing more than 350 transactions annually, and has also worked for CML Health Care, the Region of Peel and SNC Lavalin/Nexacor.
“Both Luis and Kathy bring tremendous expertise,” observes the chapter’s outgoing president, Ted Davis, Canadian chief operating officer for Avison Young. “It’s an honour to welcome them into their roles.”
Almeida and Kolodziej will also participate in the SIOR Canada Council along with leadership peers from the Canada east and Canada west chapters.
