Tuesday, March 3, 2015

Travesia Apartments (Travesia), a 396-unit apartment complex in Austin, Texas, has been acquired by the Ontario-governed Starlight U.S. Multi-Family Core Fund (Starlight). Located at 3701 Quick Hill Rd., the 18-building development was purchased for $50.6-million U.S.

Situated on a 19.4-acre site, approximately 24 kilometres from Austin’s central business district, the complex consists of one, two and three-bedroom suites in three-storey walk-up buildings. Community amenities include a central clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, charcoal grills, a fitness facility, a business centre and a dog park.

Since 2009, multi-family property manager Alliance Residential Company managed the property and Starlight intends to retain their services.

As of February 23, 2015, Travesia was 92.2 per cent occupied.
