Urban Ideas Competition call for entries

Friday, February 6, 2015

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Toronto is seeking entries for its second annual Urban Ideas Competition, which will search for visionary ideas or design proposals that focus on rejuvenating the City of Brampton’s downtown core.

ULI Toronto has partnered with the Brampton Downtown Development Corporation (BDDC) and will be accepting open submissions from the public, including architects, designers, planners, students and others. Multi-disciplinary teams are also encouraged.

Entrants are asked to consider issues such as community accessibility, environmental resiliency and intensification, to name a few.

Well-known industry leaders in development and community building will judge the submissions. Winners will be honoured at an awards event in spring 2015 and be spotlighted in public areas in Brampton, Toronto and online.
