The VICA Awards were held virtually on April 30th. The awards recognize the work of members across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and coastal British Columbia. The awards received more than 40 submissions for 13 categories.
“While we could have postponed our awards for the second year in a row, we could not have done it in good conscious.” says Rory Kulmala, CEO of the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA). “Having witnessed the resilience of the construction industry on Vancouver Island, the adoption of new health and safety regulations, and being one of the lone driving forces of the Island’s economy, we could not be more pleased to celebrate the great work our members are doing throughout our Vancouver Island communities”
The awards are open to all VICA members in good standing at time of submission and are judged by a panel of esteemed industry professionals from across the industrial, commercial, institutional, civil and multi-family residential construction sectors.
