$21-million detox centre planned for the Yukon
A new $21-million detox centre is set to enter construction in Whitehorse, Yukon this spring. The facility will replace the existing Sarah Steel Building, built in 1961, to provide services for individuals with alcohol and drug addictions.

Youth Recovery Centre nears completion in P.E.I.
Prince Edward Island’s first Youth Recovery Centre is almost complete, thanks to a provincial investment of $800,000. The facility, which entered construction last fall, is part of a $9-million commitment to improving access to youth addictions and mental health treatments throughout the province. The project will be complete in April.
