Childcare advocates are celebrating what they see as a bold course of action and are looking forward to seeing this Throne Speech pledge fulfilled.

Construction is underway for two childcare centres in Vancouver on the rooftops of Gastown parkades, which will provide 74 much-needed childcare spaces.
