The new home market in the GTA experienced a quiet March, with sales plunging 67 per cent year-over-year to 1,960 total new home sales, reported BILD.

According to statistics recently released by the Canadian Real Estate Association, national home sales climbed 1.3 per cent from February to March 2018.

In March 2018, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver reported 2,517 residential home sales, down 29.7 per cent compared to March 2017's 3,579 sales.
