State-of-the-art K-12 public school opens in P.E.I.
The K-12 Souris Regional School has officially opened in Prince Edward Island after entering construction in the spring of 2013. The new $20-million facility is comprised of 128,000 square feet of space including a new K-6 academic wing, a culinary teaching area, enhanced IT and trades spaces, two gymnasiums and three playgrounds.

Government of P.E.I. funds engineering building
The School of Sustainable Design Engineering at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) has received a commitment of $16-million in government investments from the province. A new state-of-the-art engineering building will require $12-million in development funding while the remaining $4-million will go towards operating costs for the new engineering degree.
